| About Me | I sat out a year between HS and college, graduating from BSU in 1977 with BS in Music Education. While in college I was a member of several musical ensembles, and I was inducted into Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia (Music Fraternity), receiving their scholarship in 1976. I was the first student at Ball State to be given permission to do a Senior recital in both major and minor instruments. I taught music in Centerville IN and Hartford City. I entered Seminary in 1979, graduating in 1982. I got married to the Rev. Peggy Jeffries in 1981. We moved to Missouri in 1983, and I have served around the state. While in Missouri, I helped write the Child Abuse Prevention Policy for the Annual Conference, which began a process making the Missouri Conference the "Flagship" for The United Methodist Church in this area.
