James “Jim” Mikitta, 71, of Live Oak, FL passed away on June 29, 2024, at Heaven Hospice in Lake City. Mr. Jim was born in Cleveland, OH then moved to Deland, FL where he managed Feasel’s Paint and Glass for 30 years. Mr. Jim worked with Live oak Realty for 10 years, He was a member of Wellborn Baptist Church and loved to sing in the choir, He was also a member of the Wellborn Community Association, enjoyed spending time with people, cooking and was a great example of a servant’s heart.
Mr. Jim is survived by his wife of 51 years, Pamela Mikitta; two daughters: Candi (Kelvin) Hanssen, and Mandy Gans (Brandon Smith); Two sisters: Marianne Branding and Debbie Hullum; One brother: Donald Mikitta: Four grandchildren: Ashlyn Gans, Kaleb Gans, Abigial Hanssen, and Sammy Hanssen, along with many extended family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held 11:00AM Saturday July 6, 2024, at the Wellborn Baptist Church.
