DELAND — Kenneth Wayne Kennedy, 61, died Oct. 17, 2018, at Florida Hospital Orlando.
Born in Big Spring, Texas, Kenny was the son of Ernest Kennedy and Patricia Gregory Kennedy Cowart. He and his family moved to DeLand in 1961.
He graduated from DeLand High School in 1975, and enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard.
Kenny was employed with Florida Public Utilities for 38 years.
