About	Sandy graduated from Del City High School in 1964, then received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1968. Sandy began her professional career as an 8th grade English teacher in the Carl Albert school system. After spending years as a mother and dedicated homemaker, she returned to school and completed her Master's of Public Health then returned to the workforce in Health Care Administration.
