| About Me | That is a hard question to answer. I spent 4 years in the Army after graduation. My last 2 years were in Germany where I took an overseas discharge. I went to work for the DOD as a Civil Servant for the next 22 years of which 20 was in Germany. My last assignment was as a Claims Officer for the Navy in San Diego the last 2 years. I was contacted by a head hunter and got an offer I couldn't refuse and retired from civil service and returned to Europe and went to work for a Belgium Company that is a DOD contractor. Been with them for 24 years. I retired a couple of years ago but my Company asked me to stay on a few more years and since I have always had a home office (24 years working from home) I agreed to stay on for a bit. I've done extensive traveling both professionally and privately (we work with a lot of U.S. firms) so I have traveled all over the U.S. and throughout Europe for work and pleasure. Been to around 15 Countries and can say that Croatia and Italy are my favorites, mostly because they have warm climates and awesome food. Belgium and the Netherlands have warm and friendly people, food is good but the weather sucks.
