Class of 1936
Army, 3 Years
I was drafted and sent to 18th Engineers
Went overseas to Canada and was in Yukon for 9 months building Alcan Highway
Spent 18 months on Shemya Island in the Aleutians. Was stationed in Florida when discharged in 1945
Last 20 years of employment at Jet Propulsion Labiitory NASA iin Pasadena Ca. Have been retired 25 years. Two sisters and one brother also graduated from DHS.
