Dear Fellow Classmates of 1994,
My name is Wade. I am 37 ½ years old, a Gemini, and male. This year, we will be having our 20 Year Class Reunion, where we celebrate 20 years of being apart.
The details, thus far, are hazy; at best. The planning committee is planning the most fun, exhilarating, action packed, and mediocre class reunion of all time! You know what that means…there will be balloons; Blue, white, red and possibly silver ones (to stick with the theme “America and silver!”)
After much hostile debating, it was easily agreed upon to get together this summer to drink and eat things at a party, of which, will be one of food and beverages.
Friday, June 27th 7pm- Bricktown, OKC- Casual Get Together-No big deal, Ya Know, Just Chill. What Ev’s.
Saturday, June 28th Noon- Mitch Park, Edmond- Family Picnic
Girls bring something awesome from Pinterest, Pioneer Woman, or favorite family recipe.
Guys bring a 2 liter, maybe some KFC chicken wings, and/or store bought cookies.
Saturday Night, June 28th 6:30 Likely Bricktown (or not) – The Main Event. Dinner Party
Rule #1. No kids. Rule #2. There are no rules. Rule #3. We got each other’s back.
Girls wear sequins dress and high heels. Guys go casual (not crocs casual, but shirts aren’t required). That of course, was my suggestion; but wear what you want, it’s a free country.
Also, I don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up, and I thought about not saying anything just yet, because it’s not confirmed…but Michael Jackson will be performing! I sent the invitation, I’m pretty sure it’s going to be a “yes”.
We are estimating the cost to be around $100 per couple ($50 each for those going Stag) for the weekend.
This includes pavilion and room rentals, food and beverages for Saturday night, limo service for Wade and Lisa Walker, balloons (see above for color options), and entertainment (Michael Jackson or -on the off chance he’s needed- back up entertainer “Eric” the Clown- who comes highly recommended according to his coupon in the Yellow Pages).
To help us plan, we need 3 things-
1. Yes or No's- If Yes-Head Count (for each event. Ex. 2 Fri, 4 Picnic, 2 Sat Night)
2. Contact Information (help us connect, get the word out)
3. $1,000 each, up front, non-refundable. Make Checks Payable to Wade Walker.
