Mr. Marshall Ottinger is retiring.

Mr. Marshall Ottinger is retiring after 34years. We are trying to gather pictures, funny stories and Mr. "O" isms. Please submit those to cherrymashmom@att.net. The retirement party will be May 13th at 3:30 at Deer Creek Intermiate. Please come if you can. He would love to see you!

A Coffee Table History Book

The DC Alumni Assoc. and Jostens is putting together a Coffee Table Book Vol. 1 commemorating the hallowed history of the first 55 years of DCHS. It is going to be 160 pages of history of all the old one room school houses that make up the history of Deer Creek that you know and love today and people that made a great impact in the community. They are $80 each plus $12 shipping if you do not live in the DC/Edmond area. If you are interested in ordering one please contact Stephanie Byers- srbyers@nsis.net

If you have any DC history or pictures that you would like to submit for possible print in the book, e-mail your article and/or pictures to the committee at jpward06@yahoo.com or call Patricia Ward at 341-9086.

You also have the ability to pay tribute to someone that might of had a great impact in the DC community that was a family member of yours. You can buy a 1/4 page= $35, 1/2 page= $70 or full page = $120 to write your tribute of that person and/or pictures to be included in the book- deadline for this is 12/29/08, then prices go up slightly.
