Flew with Air Rescue as an airborne radio operator during the Korean conflict. Was able to get a degree after service time at the University of Dayton thanks to the GI Bill.

Retired in 2005 as an AVCM (E-9) after 28+ years of service. Aircraft Maintenance and various aircraft manpower support billets over the years.

Viet Nam veteran (2 turs) Retired SMSgt (E-8) after 28 years (1960-1988) as a Command and Control Superintendent. Served in permanent duty or in temporary status all over the world in many capacities that included airborne command posts and hardedned facilities to launch, recover, reconstitute fighter, refueling tankers and bombe alert forces. Served at the Pentgon and the Defense Nuclear Agency in Washington, D.C. Assisted the National Science Foundation with operations support in Antartica
