USU ROTC commisioned1963 Undergraduate pilot training, Laughlin AFB (Del Rio, Texas) Class of 65 XI Ist assignment, 3rd Military Airlift Squadron Charleston AFB, SC flying C141 Starlifters to Vietnam and locations around the world, transfering to the Air Force Reserve unit at Hill AFB after 5 years active duty. in the 945th Air Reserve unit we flew C-124C Globemasters to Vietnam & other locations.Retired as a Major in 1985.

-Assigned as night shift supervisor for coalition forces security team and compound security. Protected 4000 military forces.
-Provided law enforcement duties and community support functions.
-Certified as OC pepperspray instructor and trainer for US Air Force.
-Military fish and game warden ensuring hunting and fishing law and regulation compliance.
- Assigned as military vehicle trainer and certifier for special purpose and combat vechicles. 100% passing rate for all student taking vehicle evaluation tests first time.
- Dispatcher for military security forces and law enforcement personnel.
- Maintained Security dispatch for 1.5 million dollars of USAF military hardware and munitions and oversaw the deployment of security teams and alarm monitoring capabilities.
-CCTV monitor and security systems operator.

- Maintained medical and logistical readiness of 3 medical support kits in excess of $300,000 for rapid deployment and patient support world wide.
- Oversees the medical care of US Air Force Reserve members insuring readiness for deployments.
- Provides medical physicals, immunizations, and lab work for 3000 US Air Force reserve members and DOD contractors maintaining and ensuring readily deployable force.
- Medical vehicle trainer for opertations group.
- Primary immunizations manager and mobile immunizations technician
-Maintained vaccine inventory for both static and mobile operations.
- Medical logistiical support for purchasing and prucurement.
- Supported 910th Operations group, 775th Airlift Squadron and 773rd Airlift Squadron in medical survival training, survival training and evasion.
- Lead technician for overseeing medical readiness of 910th Operations Group, 773rd Airlift Squardon and 775th Airlift Squadron.

Went in the army after graduation. Basic at Ft. Leonard Wood, Radio school at Fort Gordon, Jump school at Ft. Benning, Special forces training at the JFK Center at Fort Bragg. Returned to the 19th Special Forces as a como specialist. In 1984 I joined the Air Force Reserve and served as a Law Enforcemnt Craftsman assigned to the 2849th Secutity Police Sq. Hill AFB. Served as a reservist for twenty one years. Retired from the reservs in 2005.

Shawn served Active duty with 1/7 weapons company for four years in 29 palms
California. During this time he served two deployments to Al Anbar Providence, Iraq. In 2008 Shawn returned to the Marine Corps and served as an advisor to the Iraqi Police in Hit Iraq.
