About Me	Welcome to my corner of Facebook. Sit back, relax, and enjoy! Hi, I decided to add a little more about me here rather than the half-assed paragraph I had here before. My name is Erik. I was born in Berkeley, CA, and grew up in Davis, CA, where I still live. I lived for five months in El Cajon, CA in 2006 until returning to Davis. Lately, I've been spending little time in Davis, as piping/friends/other stuff sends me all over. I am known all over for playing the bagpipes. In fact, only a few people know that I play other instruments, and that the pipes actually weren't my first instrument. I've done a lot of awesome things with them, and the pipes often put me on the road quite a bit, usually to either the San Francisco Bay area and to the Greater Los Angeles area, although not as often anymore. I am a musician by profession at the moment. I go to school if I have the motivation to keep up with it (which is rare), and pick up my pipes and travel and perform wherever I'm wanted whenever I can. I play other instruments, like the guitar, bass, mandolin, trumpet, whistle, ukulele, and whatever else I can get my hands on. I am a Jew, and my Jewish identity is very strong and proud. I'm not very religious, but I do celebrate the traditions. I still believe very strongly in God though, but I hold the belief that one's home is as good a temple as any. I try to be friendly to everyone, and I do my best to live a life trying to be a person that even I could respect if I wasn't me. Most of the time, I'm successful. Anyway, there...(read more)
