About Me	I was born in Ocean Springs, Missisippi (actually at Keesler AFB) but I say I am from Mobile since that is where I graduated HS. I actually lived everywhere in the South since my Dad worked in the paper industry. I went to a private school in Georgia (fuzzy about the name), Pembroke Elementary in Virginia, St Andrews and Irmo Elementary in South Carolina, Alexander Graham JH and Smith JH in North Carolina, Ouachitia HS in Louisiana, and finally Davidson HS in Alabama. I joined the Air Force on Halloween in 1974 and retired 28 years and two months later as a Chief Master Sergeant. I applied was hired back into civil service and I am now stationed at Arnold AFB. I got both of my degrees while serving in Hawaii, something about the water I guess. I am married to former Judy Long Chartak and we have his, hers, and ours...three boys and one girl. All flew the coop. I just purchased my retirement home and 42 wooded acres here in Tullahoma. I do not plan to move again! I vote as a conservative Republican. That doesn't bode well ...(read more)
