A very good friend of mine and every time I have a chance to remember him I do. He died in Vietnam at the time I was there and didn't even know he was in country. He gave his life in a very fierce battle. I usually visit his grave 3 to 4 times a year. Never forget our veterans especially the ones that never made it back.

I grew up with Rick, swimming every summer in Debbie Reed's backyard pool with Rick's cousin, Alan Larson. We all played ball together & spent so many carefree days as kids. Never realizing what was to happen to end his life way too soon. Patty Myers Paulson
