About Me	Graduated from Portland State, taught 2nd and 3rd grade in Pleasant Valley School District, met my future husband, married and moved to the San Francisco Bay Area. Taught 3rd grade in Fremont, CA, became a Reading Specialist, a Program Manager and an elementary school principal. Principal for 24 years at 2 different schools in Fremont. The last school received the CA Distinguished School Award in 1992 & National Recognized School in 1993. Received several awards and traveled to the White House for reception and award. During summers my husband and I traveled abroad to over 80 countries. In 2003 I retired to our third home in Pleasanton. My husband and I formed a partnership with the City of Pleasanton in 2011 to bring public art to our city. We have already brought 27 pieces of public art. We also provide free public art walks once a month with the city providing a map of our tours. We have received the Mayor’s Award and the Pleasanton Patriot’s Award from our city.
