About Me	The saying "you have everything as long as you have your health" is so true. When you are chronically ill, it crushes your dreams and all your plans. It's an isolation I never expected. I miss working as a nurse. I miss being productive. And I'm terrified that this is it. I'm inoperable and there is no cure. I have torticollis. Called twisted neck, Cervical Dystonia. You may see me and say I don't look sick. Maybe I had a good day. I probably didn't leave my house for a week before. For people that never heard of it, it's kin to Parkinson's disease. A movement disorder of the brain. So if I see you, recognize you but forget your name, please forgive me. I'm trying my best :) I am probably the proudest mom ever!! My son Matt Ulgherait will finish his PhD in Molecular Bio-Chemistry and Physiology at UCLA this year. My younger son Brad Ulgherait just graduated Temple University with a degree in International Business and Entrepreneurship. They are the most loving and amazing young men I could hope for. They are my light and love. Worked at New Lisbon Developmental Center (nurse) until my Cervical Dystonia took control over my brain and body. I live for my two German Shepherds -Harley and Daphne-both 5 years old. I trust dogs more than most people. I am an animal activist and would love to run German Shepherd Rescue( yet another dream of mine). I spend most of time with my mom, since my sister Mary Ellen and my grandmother both passed. Also trying to spend more time with my neice Kelsey. What a beautiful girl.( Looks so much like Mary Ellen). Still hoping for a miracle and a true partner to grow old...(read more)
