Favorite School Memory	Miss Wolfle's Acappela Choir, it was so much fun and she made you feel like you were always important. Playing on the DHS Baseball Team, Mr Kay was our coach, it was great.
About Me	After graduating from Eureka College, I married and moved to Byron, Illinois. In 1979, I started teaching in the community of Stillman Valley, Illinois. I taught in the Middle School and coached in the high school for sixteen years. I was then hired by Byron High School to teach and coach on the high school level as a Social Studies and History Teacher. I retired from the Byron School District after 34 years as a teacher and coach. I have coached football, baseball, basketball, and cut back to just coaching one sport, for my last fifteen years, I coached Boys Golf. I was blessed to be asked to build the Byron High School Boys and Girls Golf Programs, from the ground up. That was in 1997, we developed a fine program and we are very proud of the Golf Programs at Byron High School. My wife of 37 years, Kay is a retired teacher, our daughter Jennifer, graduated from Winnoa State University in Winnoa Minnesota and is currently a professional graphic designer with a firm in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. Our son Daniel graduated from Eureka College and is now an assistant pro at Aldeen Golf Club in Rockford, Illinois, as well as a Boys Sophomore Basketball Coach at Stillman Valley High School.
