Greg developed brain cancer and passed away at the age of 55. He lived in Carmel, Indiana and was employed as an engineer with Technicolor (formerly RCA). He was married to the love of his life, Dana, who died in 2009 of gallbladder cancer. Greg leaves two children who remain in the Indianapolis, IN area.
