About Me	After graduating in 1973 went to work at the First National Bank of Sullivan County in Kingsport while also attending ETSU. Put college on hold in 1977 and worked fill time in banking. In 1982 I accepted a position in banking as VP of Operations and Data Processing in Anchorage, Alaska. Following 7 years in Alaska I returned to Johnson City then relocated to Nashville, TN. I returned to college at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN, graduating in 1992 with a BBA. Following a year of consulting in the banking industry I followed my calling into funeral service. I attended John A. Gupton College in Nashville, graduating in December of 1994. In July of 1994, while in mortuary college I began my career in funeral service with Harpeth Hills Funeral Home And Memory Gardens.
