| Favorite School Memory | Senior class trip and Senior basketball game at Prairie City Monroe when we almost didn't make it out of the gym. My sophmore year we waited at their school because our bus tires had all been slashed. It was early in the morning when we got home. John Hooper dropping a waste basket full of water from the 3rd floor through the 1st floor window shattering it and then admitting to doing it to Mr. Henkenius and John was told to go to class because Mr. Henkenius didn't believe him. My freshman year somebody put itching powder on the toilet in Mr. Burghers class intending for Rick Miller to use it and Mr. Burgher used it and had to go home. Every day at the same time at lunch the bell would ring and Andy James would run down the hall and kick the waste basket down the hall outside of the library. Well one day someone filled the waste basket up with water and Andy came running down the hall and kicked the waste basket full of water and at the same time Rick Miller walked out of the library and got soaked. Andy was a freshman and Rick was a senior. I'm surprised Andy is still alive today! John Randolph eating a sloppy joe in the lunch room and found a band aid in his sandwich and it wasn't in the wrapper. Larry Spray getting sick on our class trip. Does anyone remember the guy who came to school to sell us our class rings and the comment that he made about it being hat day and nobody laughed. We just all stared at him an...(read more) |
