About Me	I'm a southern country girl, who loves the Lord, and my family most of all. I have 3 beautiful children. Matthew, my oldest by 1 minute, is an RN who works in Lakewood California. Andrew, his twin brother, is also a nurse working here in the Bay area. He is a newlywed, to the love of his life, Naphy Squier. She has been such a blessing to him, and the entire family. My youngest, Rebecca, is a sophomore majoring in Spanish at Foothill. All three of them are the joy of my life, and I enjoy doing anything with them, even if it is just watching and listening to them play video games. We have been very blessed in the last few years to be able to go white water rafting on the California River, take several trips to Yosemite, (my favorite spot on earth), see the Grand Canyon, go to Universal Studios in LA, meet one of Rebecca's favorite singers, Josh Grobin in person (twice), make several mission trips including 1 to New Orleans, 1 to Bay St Louis Mississippi, after Hurricane Katrina, and also my daughter and I got to go on a 2 week mission trip to Peru. We have been up and down the California coast, with Rebecca going all the way to Mexico on a mission trip, and to San Diego with her church group, and she and I also got to go with the church group all the way up to Mt St Helens area. Oregon is so beautiful! My preference for sight-seeing has always been God's handiwork. I have never cared anything at all about man-made creations. That said, I would still have to give a shout out to the Golden Gate Bridge, the only man-made structure that I have ever thought was beautiful. We were blessed enough to have Mama and Dad out here in California, and take them to see some of the sites, and look forward to them coming out again soon. I have a sister in Alabama, Kathy, who has 2 grandchildren, and a brother Kenny, and his wife Chelle in Alabama as well. Although I have resisted technology all my life, I would have to say I am really enjoying my Droid and uploading mobile pics to Facebook. I've just recently started, and don't have much time for it, but when I do have a little free time, it's super fun, and I am looking forward to looking up old friends and my family in Alabama and North Carolina. I love to cook, entertain, and walk at night with my daughter Becca. I absolutely love everything about nursing, especially trauma, and couldn't imagine doing anything else for a living. I also enjoy reading, and watching college football. Roll Tide! (War Eagle this year) Stanford is an amazing place to work, and they treat their nurses so well, I am truly blessed.
