About Me	I began this life 49 years ago as Cathi Ciardo. I was born in West Allis, and then moved to the Greenridge subdivision of New Berlin. I went to Hoover, to Lane Jr. High and Nathan Hale High School. After studying at UW-Oshkosh and UW-Milwaukee, I began work as a high school Social Studies teacher at Nathan Hale. While there, I embarked on a career that was both rewarding and exhausting. After participating in our community from the sidelines, I realized that I have much to offer and chose to run for Alderman. I come from a long line of political enthusiasts who have devoted their professional lives to serving their communities in elected positions. Specifically, as I take the oath of office on Tuesday, April 17th and become the 2nd District of West Allis' newest Alderman, I will follow in the footsteps of my grandfather, Lloyd C.
