| About Me | Wow, a lot...I have moved around a lot, from Cypress, to San Luis Obispo, CA. Within my first 2 years up there, many things go kinda bad, and weird, family getting sick, in and out of the hospital. Myself going through 3 totaled cars in accidents that were not my fault, and a horseback riding incident that almost had my life had me down and out for months. 5 of my family members died in those 21/2 years, including my Mom and Grandma who took care of me when my parents couldn't. In what seemed to be perfect timing I found a church there and it totally changed my life, got involved leading a home group on Cal Poly Campus. From there God gave me a passion for misssions, specifically Africa, which was perfect because the church I was going to at the time was going to go to Zambia, Africa. It was a trip that truly changed my life! (I could go on for days just about that but i go on) After that I ended up chasnging churches to help a local church, jioned their worship team, and led some classes there. One day when I thought life was, "Perfect " and nothing should ever change, this group called the "Master's Commission" came, from Washington. I had never seen anything like them, they had choreographed dances, human drama's of real life issues that spoke to me like nothing ever did before, people, my age telling their stories of what they persi=onally have been through, testifying of the life, love and grace of Jesus. It moved me so much I went to see them again the next night! I filled out an application. a monthanad a half later, after a 32 hour train ride I was in Washington, where I had never been before, awaiting a new adventure and that it truly was, two of the best years of my life. Learning about the blble, and people, doing outreaches, and reading tons of amazing books, great guest speakers. A year of laying down the old and gaining a new way of life, at least for me. I am still living in Washington, enjoying life, and the oppertunities I have right now ...(read more) |
