About	Annie fought a brave and courageous four-year battle with Ovarian Cancer. She was a beautiful person both inside and out, and she leaves a legacy of many qualities – not the least of which are strength, wisdom, integrity, and love. She fought her disease with all her might, with grace, dignity and determination. Her suffering done, her loved ones now look to heal and to grow, and to take the best of Annie with them into the rest of their lives. Godspeed, Annie, rest in peace! Annie was preceded in death by her father Art Surette, Sr. She is survived by her husband Brett Barney and 5 year old daghter Haley, mother Martha, siblings Art (Cy-Fair '76), Vicky (Cy-Fair '79, Jenny (Cypress Creek '80), Pat (Cypress Creek '82), and Pete (Cypress Creek '86)
