The Class of '61 is organizing a CHHS Alumni reunion for all CHHS Alumni on September 21st and 20th.
We will have one Metro coach on the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad for Saturday September 21, 2013 which departs the Rockside Station at 12:45 P.M. and returns at 3:45 P.M. Passengers should arrive 45 minutes before departure. This is a 48 mile round-trip between Independence and Akron. The coach will be connected with the regular scenic run set for that day. We will receive a reduce rate with a cost of $14 per person. This is an
adults only trip. Sandwiches, snacks, soft drinks, beer and wine will be available on the train in the cafe car- Cash or credit card. The seating capacity on the coach is 80 persons. This excursion is limited to the first 80 persons who respond with payment. Therefore, it is a first come, first serve reservation. Checks should be payable to Pat Klir. The CHHS Homecoming game will be the night of Sept. 20th at the CHHS school at 7:00. The Alumni room will be open for viewing at 6:00 through half time. Beverages and snacks are available for purchase at the concession stand during the game. I hear that the hot dogs are outstanding.
