About Me	Have an A.A.S., in addition to my B.S. in education. I also have a master's in education, along with a TESOL endorsement. Was a homemaker and stay-at-home mom for many years, then subbed for several years. I am currently teaching ESL to middle-school students, a field which I thoroughly enjoy! Have enjoyed travel through the U.S. (48 lower states), Canada and Mexico, as well as traveling through many countries in Europe (12),, Asia (China, Japan, and South Korea) and, most recently, Africa (Morocco) in 2015. Visiting China (Beijing) (April 2007) - especially the Forbidden City and the Great Wall - was an awesome experience, especially since I was able to share it with my oldest daughter. In 2008, my husband, youngest daughter and myself visited Italy, Vatican City and Greece - a great experience! In 2010, we really enjoyed England (London, Oxford and Windsor). In 2013, I visited mainland China a second time, as well as visiting and exploring Hong Kong. Andy and I enjoyed a trip to the maritime provinces of Canada in 2016, visiting New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and PEI (Prince Edward Island). It was well worth the trip!!! : ) My husband and two youngest children and I volunteered on a Navajo Indian Reservation in Arizona in 2005; I hope to do so again. Have also taught parenting classes to young parents in previous years, including those parents facing difficult pregnancies. Currently my husband and I are working with engaged couples through our church with reviewing marriage assessments. By far, my greatest accomplishment is raising 3 great kids! I am very proud of them! And now I am a proud grandmother of a beautiful little granddaughter and grandson, too! : ) Lastly, I really enjoy genealogy, and have been actively pursuing my family history (off and on) for well over 20 years, being quite active with my research for the last 10 y...(read more)
