Obituary for Cheryl Ann Schmidt (Tench)
CUYAHOGA FALLS - Cheryl Ann Schmidt (Tench), 68, passed away suddenly on March 5, 2016 at her home in California. She was born on June 2, 1947, grew up in Cuyahoga Falls and graduated from Falls High in 1965. Shortly after Cheryl moved to CA where she met and married Carl Schmidt. Cheryl loved her cats and dogs, playing bingo at the Senior Center and walking in the parks.
Preceded in death by her father, Louis Tench, she is survived by husband Carl Schmidt of Moreno Valley, CA, mother Eileen Tench of Cuyahoga Falls, sister Debi Grissinger of Cuyahoga Falls, her niece Andrea Martin (Tom), grandnieces Tori, Becca and Rachel, great grandnephew Cooper and special friend Robert Annetta.
A memorial service will be held at Northlawn Memorial Gardens at 1:00 pm on Monday, March 28, 2016 with Dr. Richard A. Hasler officiating. There will be no calling hours.
