About	James (Jim) E. Powell CUYAHOGA FALLS -- James E. Powell, 37, passed away August 16th. leaving a void in the lives of those who loved him. James lived the majority of his life in Cuyahoga Falls. He was a graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School, Stark Tech Vocational School where he obtained his ASE Certification and was most recently three months away from earning his Associates Degree in Computer Information Management Systems from the National Institute of Technology. He was a proud member of the National Honor Society, the Rho Zeta Chapter of Alpha Beta Gamma. His greatest love was spending time with his family and friends. He had an avid love for automotive work, working on computers and riding his motorcycle. He was a friend to all those who knew him, with a warm heart and a smile that was infectious. He was always helping someone in need, with nothing ever expected in return. James is survived by his loving wife of almost 16 years, Lisa M. Powell; sons, Christopher James Powell and Timothy David Powell; father, George (Becky) Powell; mother, Sun Hui Powell; mother and father-n-law, Richard (Linda) Gates; brothers, Michael (Melissa) Powell, Larry (Season) Legg; sister, Missie (Jeff) Soisson; brothers-n-law, Jeff and Brian Gates; grandmother, Delores Gates; grandfather, John Kaster; special nieces, Haley and Lacy Powell, Bailee Legg and Lyllian Soisson; special nephews, Allan Roper and Dylan Soisson; many loving aunts, uncles and special friends. The family would like to especially thank the CCU Nurses and Staff at St. Thomas Hospital for their exceptional care and support. Friends may call Monday 5 to 9 p.m. at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, where services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. Cremation will follow.
