Gary and I were best pals from second grade on at Sill School, CFHS and on to Akron U. Gary, always the studious one, stuck with the program, got two PHDs and held many patents in both chemical and electrical engineering. Air Force ROTC took him to North Dakota after college and he met wife Linda, CFHS class of 66. They remained together until his death. Gary was one of the smartest and kindest people I ever knew and inspired me to try to look at the world from an unbiased perspective as well as a place of endless possibilities.
