Francis "Frank" Case, 62, of Akron, Ohio, was called home to be with the Lord, October 30, 2013.
He was born September 20, 1951, in Cuyahoga Falls, to Harley Case and Margaret Hoole. Frank graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1969; after which time he proudly served in the U.S. Army before retiring in 1972. Frank enjoyed hiking, fishing, listening to music, playing guitar, as well as collecting unique rocks and coins.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Maureen Case; daughter, Franceen Case; siblings, David and Joseph Case, and Sally Kohut; along with grandchildren, Joseph and Jada Speegle.
A gathering of family and friends will be on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., with a service to follow at Adams Mason Funeral Home, 791 East Market Street, Akron, OH 44305. Entombment will take place on Tuesday as well at 1:30 p.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. (Adams Mason Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-535-9186)
