What is Kurt Alme known for?

Kurt G. Alme is a Montana native, born in Great Falls. He's a distinguished alumnus of Custer County District High School, in Miles City, Montana. Alme's educational journey didn't stop there, as he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business from the University of Colorado Boulder before going on to receive a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School.

Alme's career has been equally as impressive, with notable contributions to both the legal and political spheres of Montana. His legal prowess took him to the position of United States Attorney for the District of Montana, a role he held from 2017 to 2020. His leadership extended to the political arena when he served as the Director of the Montana Governor's Office of Budget and Program Planning under Governor Greg Gianforte in 2021.
