| About Me | I worked as a research assistant and teacher's assistant at Smith studying alcohol and drug expectancies in adolescent youth. I thought that I wanted to be a Psychiatrist, but I figured it out quickly that it wasn't for me! I spent a lot of time studying youth offenders and realized through my internship with the Special Commitment Center at McNeil prison that I enjoyed this type of work. I completed my clinical psych undergrad, but also diversified my education in order to qualify for a Criminal Justice Masters degree after college. After grueling GREs and studying myself silly, I was finally accepted by WSU for my Master's. I graduated May 2011 after being diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
