Lesley passed in January of 2017 from ALS. She lived most of her adult life in British Columbia where she was a postal carrier. Lesley was a wife, a mother and a grandmother.

I was on the same swim team as Lesley in grade school. I lost contact with Lesley after grade school but always wondered what happened to her. Lesley was wonderful young girl and somebody I always looked forward to seeing.

Lesley and I used to walk partway home from de Vargas elementary together, and were later in the 6th grade class at Kennedy Jr High before moving on to Hyde and Cupertino. This is sad news--sorry I am seeing it so long after the fact.
