About Me	I grew up in Cumberland, KY - (Harlan County) and graduated high school at Cumberland High in 1978. I moved to London two years later and took a job at Continental Telephone Company and worked there for 13 years. I then went back to college and earned my degree in education and have taught elementary school at East Bernstadt for the past 14 years. I now live in Corbin with my husband Jeff. My son, Lee, is a Sophomore at EKU and our daughter, Ashley, is in the 8th grade at East Bernstadt Middle School. I believe teaching children was my true calling. I get to be a kid over and over again. I love planning activities that will inspire kids to learn on their own and I love to see them grow and mature into self sufficient young adults. I am a member of the Mt. Zion Church of Christ. I have always loved learning about the Bible. I count myself very blessed to have been raised in a family with strong Christian values.
