About Me	Excited to say employed in this economy. I left 11 1/2 years of teaching (10 years at UAB) to work 5 days a week in a federally qualified health clinic. The community health clinic is attending to approximately 2000 indigent children or uninsured adults of which are 80% Hispanic or Guatemalan. Have trained several NP graduate students, nurses, and a senior medical student in this past year and will thankfully be getting another provider to help me now. Many mothers walk to the clinic with their children or either by themselves to see me often only being able to speak different Myan dialect...(read more)
