Mark Davis

Mark Davis

Class of 1975

Mark Davis, Talk Show Host, WBAP/ Dallas-Ft. Worth, Columnist, Dallas Morning News

Mark Davis attended Crossland from 1972-1975 after attending nearby Avalon and Allenwood Elementaries and Roger B. Taney Jr. High (now Thurgood Marshall Middle School).

He was an editor on the 1975 "Gauntlet" yearbook staff and a member of the French and drama clubs. After graduation, he attended the University of Maryland for a degree in Journalism.

He was a radio reporter in Charleston WV and Jacksonville FL before becoming a talk show host, a career that took him to Memphis and Tampa before returning to the DC metro area from 1990-94 to join WWRC. He moved to the Dallas-Ft. Worth area in 1994, where he has become one of the dominant talk show hosts in America, frequently substituting for Rush Limbaugh.

His return trips to the area are usually related to the coverage of major news events, but he always tries to reserve time to get back to the corner of Allentown and Temple Hills to remember his days as a Cavalier.
