Still in the sixties and proud of it!
Personally still just me. Still playing music and looking like the sixties. Because I still have long hair and a large, white beard, one story I love telling is that, in the sixties I was yelled at to get my hair cut. In the eighties strangers asked me to sell them drugs. Now I am often asked if I am a profeesor. Getting old does have some wonderful advantages! I am finally geting some respect!!! One of my greatest delights is having been Santa for many years. Gave up skiing, too dangerous and took up snowboarding. Living an hour away from world class resorts there is nothing like jumping off a cliff first thing in the morning, especially when the season is at least 4-5 months.
Professionally I am a nationally recognized building industry leader with six national certifications, local, state and national awards and recognitions. I am an educator, author, talk radio host, TV personality, lecturer and public speaker. As the former executive director of Denver Habitat for Humanity I am still active in community and business organizations. I founded and now operate a non profit oprganization focusing on education and awareness of green building, handicap accessibility and energy sustainability.
