About Me	I traveled to New Zealand by way of Tahiti to get my wife a Valentines gift. I went on a camera safari in the depths of Africa, camped in the Austrailian outback and on the glaciers in Alaska, climbed the highest peak in Iceland, and spent Christmas morning exploring an ice cave on a glacier in Svalbard. I worked as an intelligence analyst for the government, and worked on the Superconducting Magnetic Energy Storage System, the Superconducting Super-Collider, ITER, and the first vector controlled Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System. I helped raised three wonderful children, one a Fulbright scholar, watched one win a gold medal at the World Junior Championships in TKD in Argentina, and piped for my daughter at her wedding. I build a Viking House which now sits on the UWGB campus. I was president of the Sons of Norway District 5. I've taught several classes at Vesterheim making grindbygningen and stave containers. I studied TaeKwonDo, eventually becoming a Master Instructor reaching 5th Degree black belt, and taught TKD for many years. Recently I have reconnected with my teen age hobby of Amateur...(read more)
