Patricia Ellen (Pat) Dorle, 67, of Greensboro, NC and Crookston, MN, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 24, 2017 at the Villa St. Vincent in Crookston.
Pat was born on October 17, 1949 at Pipestone, MN to Jim and Ann (Costello) Paul. She was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith and graduated from Crookston Central High School in 1967. On June 7, 1974 Pat was united in marriage to Thomas W. Dorle at Cresco, IA. That same year, she graduated from nursing school in Rochester, MN. A hospital and clinic nurse for 36 years, Pat was frequently recognized by patients, co-workers and physicians for her exceptional care and dedication to the vocation she loved.
Pat is preceded in death by her father, Jim, and brother, Doug. She is survived by her beloved husband, Tom Dorle of Greensboro, NC; sons, Chris Dorle of Detroit, MI and Ben (Sarah) Dorle of Shelby Twp, MI; grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Conor of Shelby Twp, MI; her mother, Annie Paul of Crookston, MN; and siblings: Jim Paul of Seattle, WA, Marie (Dick) Welch of Cambridge, MN, Ted (Joyce) Paul of Phoenix, AZ, David (Bonnie) Paul and Mike (Peggy) Paul of Crookston, Margaret Pickett of The Villages, FL, Colleen (Jeff) Mauch of Battle Lake, MN, and John Paul of Grand Marais, MN; as well as many nieces and nephews. Blessed be the memory of Pat Dorle.
Mass of Christian Burial for Patricia Ellen Dorle will be held at 10:30AM, Thursday, April 27, 29017, at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Crookston, MN with The Very Rev. Vincent Miller, presiding. Visitation with the family will be for one hour prior to the Mass. Inurnment will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Crookston.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be given in Pat's name to the Memory Care Unit, Villa St. Vincent, 516 Walsh Street, Crookston, MN 56716, in recognition of the excellent care the team provided her.
