Oklahoma died in Ar Ramadi, Iraq, when his unit was conducting a dismounted patrol and encountered enemy forces using small arms fire. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Camp Howze, Korea. Died on November 28, 2004.

Even though I didn't graduate from CO, I attended from first grade until nearly the end of my junior year. I enlisted in 1971 and was a meatcutter for two years. spent nine years in finance. graduated from Weber State, was commissioned and finished as a missile launch officer.
