About Me	People, like plants, put down deep roots, making it difficult to move. A part of them is always left behind. Yet, after a period of adjustment, they often flourish beyond where they might have had they stayed put. That's in essence what happened to us. After 10 years of marriage and successful careers, we were both ready to live life on our own terms – working when it pleased us while pursuing our individual passions. We were ready for a slower paced life, so breaking with conventional thinking, we moved north to a harsher climate for a slower pace. Life in California was just too hectic for us. Reflecting on life's changes, the panhandle of Idaho and the lake and big woods moves slower and we discovered and found the opportunity of a lifetime – a piece of land and a magnificent home.
