About Me	I am currently living out in Vancouver after concluding my education at various Universities across Canada. I pursued Music Performance at Mount Royal (Calgary), McGill (Montreal), and UOttawa, followed by a PhD in Popular Musicology at Western in Ontario. My dissertation work was an Ethnography of GTA’s urban electronic dance music community, inclusive of Canadian rave music and culture history. I also have a Certificate in University Teaching and Learning and have taught at both Brandon University (2018/19) and UBC (2019-2023). In addition, I’ve taken music education pedagogy courses and have taught violin to all ages for the past 20 years. Most recently I’ve been serving on a board of directors for Muzewest Concerts in Vancouver and am serving as chair of the Arts Outreach and Indigenous Initiatives Committee which I have accepted with great pride since the recent discovery of my family’s Indigenous Heritage.
