| Favorite School Memory | Sorry--can't limit it to just one (the reunion brought back a flood of memories): Playing Spades during lunch. Singing on the original stage of the Grand 'Ole Opry (Glee Club Trip my Sr year). Walking the 20-mile March of Dimes walk-a-thon in flip flops (as only an idiot teenager can do). Winning "1's" at state contest in Glee CLub--the disappointment of realizing the Glee Club didn't get the cool medals that the smaller groups received--so I tried out for Contemporary Singers/Madrigils (made it by the skin of my teeth) and won a medal the next year. A failed group attempt at writting a play for Drama Club--one of the characters was a country bumpkin named "Homer." Humm....I wonder if that's where they got "The Simpson's?" ...(read more) |
