David passed away on January 3, 2010. He was born on July 11, 1961. David touched everyone he met - he was kind, thoughtful and just an all around good guy. Family and friends feel privileged to have had someone as wonderful as David in their lives, even if it wasn't for as long as they would've liked.
He is survived by wife Julie, sons Phillip and Justin, daughter Cierra, parents Antonio and Georgia Nunez, and siblings Tony Nunez (CHS'75) and Lori Nunez (CHS'77). Funeral services were held on January 9th, 2010 at Poway-Bernardo Mortuary

David was one SMART guy! I remember we used to have 'dueling math' competitions in school where David and I would compete to be the first one in the class to solve the math problems...
We were very evenly matched and often would take turns being the first in the class to blurt out a complex math problem!
This really drew the ire of the teachers, as we were GOOD...faster than the rest of the class and we often were reprimanded to let the other kids answer the questions!
I was just remembering these things a few weeks ago, as David is etched in my memory as a nice (and competitive!) guy, who I have many memories of!
