Michael passed away on March 13, 2003 in San Diego. The native San Diegan born on June 21, 1959 was a title searcher for Chicago Title Co. He was a member of the Japanese American Historical Society of San Diego. Survivors include his parents, Yukio and Mitsuko of San Diego; and brothers, Jon Kawamoto (CHS'79) of Pleasant Hill and Robert Kawamoto (CHS'80) of San Diego. Services were held at Buddhist Temple of San Diego. Inurnment: Cypress View Mausoleum, San Diego.
