About	She passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. She fought hard and with great enthusiasm. Michelle most recently worked for the San Diego Blood Bank and loved her job. She attended Grossmont College and Cal State Long Beach, then went on to work at Macy's, the San Diego Humane Society and Raphael's Party Rentals. Michelle had a zest for life and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her mother Jan Gilmer and brother Sheldon Gilmer (CHS'82).
