About I like to describe George as the sweetest asshole!

George Lautenschlager passed away on August 17, 2018 at 86 years old in his home.

George William Lautenschlager iii was born on June 10, 1932 to George William Lautenschlager ii and Inez Lautenschlager in Washington, Pa.

George was older brother to two younger sisters, Nancy Trone and Pat Robbins.

In the late 40s, George and his family moved to California. In June 1951 he graduated from
Covina Union High School.

Right after graduating he enlisted in the US Navy in 1951, which he was really proud of! He served as an airman aircraft mechanic and was honorable discharged September 10, 1954. He received accommodations of United Nations service ribbon, Korean War medal, national defense ribbon and China service medal. His most significant assignment was on the uss kearsarge which went to the Korean War. George served 4 years active and 4 years reserves until discharge.

In 1955 he married the love of his life, Faye Seavey in Vegas. George and Faye settled in Long Beach And started working for Metro. Faye and George welcomed there first born George iiii.

11 years later they got the biggest blessing, Faye was pregnant with a baby girl. George got a second job working at Taco Bell to be able to bring Terri into this world. On March 10, 1967 Terri was more. And George was so proud and happy to have a little girl! A week after Terri’s birth George lost Faye to double pneumonia. They were married for 11 years!

George worked for GTE phone company while running around and supporting his two children.

He was lucky in life again and met Patrica Quinn and in 1968 they were married. Along with Pat came George’s first step daughter Christina. The blended family lived in Long Beach, CA together until Pat passed away too soon in 1983, they were married for 14 years.

Before retiring from GTE, George met Sandra Neal when he came into her work to fix a phone line and her two kids Dale and Noelle. George and Sandy were married in 1990. After George and Sandy retired, they moved to Rogue River, OR in 1992.

George acquired a dog Honey! She was his pride and joy. That dog was his everything.

Over time, the kids would come visiting and living on and off over time. George enjoyed working on cars, fishing, CB radios and hanging out with his daughter, in his later years.

George was married to Sandy for 28 years until his life ended due to unknown natural causes.
