I am putting out a challenge. I think, after all Mr. Salina meant to Coventry H S music program and all the students that have become better citizens and better musicians, due to his guidance. That we should put the word out to ALL Alumni of Coventry HS to support the marching band THIS year 2013-14. They are representing the State of CT in Washington D.C. come this Memorial day 2014. I am asking everyone, YES everyone to send a donation of $5.00 or More to Coventry H S - now ! Let's support and send our HS BAND to DC in style and let them be proud Patriots. Please help. Jessica Racine
through treatments for Hodgkins Lymphoma
She is the daughter of Ray Racine, Barbara Levitre Coventry High School alumni class of 2004
where she played soft ball and volleyball under coach Hurlock.
Jessica is 25 years old and was diagnosed with Stage 2 Lymphoma. She is a graduate of the University of St. Joseph’s (formerly St. Joseph College in CT) where she was on the softball and volleyball teams
She has been working daily even while going through her treatment and is now beginning to feel the emotional stress of her medical bills.
When I see her, she is smiling and positive. She has great support from family and friends. She is an independent, strong young lady who is coming to terms with her illness and realizes she is in need of help. Her dreams are big and her goals are reachable.
All the monies raised will be used to pay her medical bills and other expenses.
