Calling all Coughlin High School alumni from the '60s and '70s: How great would it be to catch up with old friends ... on the sun deck of a cruise ship in the middle of the Caribbean? Well, find your old Breidlin and some sun block, and sign onto the first-ever Coughlin High School 50-and-Over Reunion Cruise, coming sometime in the coming year. That's right. A couple of us CHS Class of 1970 geezers thought it might be fun to put a new twist on the traditional class reunion by booking a cruise to reconnect and party with old friends. And we thought, why limit this to the Class of '70? Why not open it up to classes before and after '70? After all, we all had friends who graduated before us and after us. So here's the deal: If you're interested and/or want to help plan, contact either Joe McGavin or Cheryl Scott (Kocher). If you are reading this, post a reply here. We'll find you! We'll see where it goes from there. If we get 30 people interested, great. If we get 50 people, even better. And if 100 people show interest ... fantastic! Cheryl has experience booking cruises, so once we get some people talking about this, she can start making plans and shaping the cruise that works best for the most people possible. Don't be a stick in the mud! Get involved and help us pull this off!
