About	11/13/1952 ~ 07/03/2017 Jacqueline Ellen Barker Sodja, age 64, passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on Monday, July 3, 2017 after a courageous 5-year battle with cancer. Jacque Barker Sodja was the best friend I have ever had. My dad got transferred to SLC in February 1971 of my Senior Year of High School. You can imagine how thrilled about that I was. When I walked in to register, Jacque was in the office. She walked over to welcome me and stated we would be best friends. Little did we both know we would remain the best of friends for almost 50 years! We went through marriages, deaths, children, divorces (mine), and relocations to other states (me, again). We did not see each other oftern, but stayed very connected in our hearts. We never missed a birthday or sharing any life event. We shared joys and sorrows. We knew the other was always there. One of the only unconditional relationships I have had in my life. She was always there no matter when or what time or where. She was the kindest, most loyal, beautiful (inside and out), loving, giving, talented, dedicated, and life loving person. I am blessed to remain in contact with her family. Her husband, Marty keeps me updated on his life and daughters, Haylee and Lindsay. She will always be with me!!!!!!!!!!!!!
