About Me	SMILE...! Because, when all is said and done, there really isn't anything better to do in life (moreover, when we get old and ugly, we can't afford to be straight-faced: not to smile when one is older makes a person look "bitterly disappointed" w/how his or her life has developed. Think about it). On a practical level, smiling releases certain chemicals in the brain which create a self-perpetuating mood of conviviality; a natural human reflex beginning in infancy, regrettably, "bred out" as one matures (either this, or due to the fact that the infant is no longer being "tickled pink" by large, preposterous, and ugly adults attempting to amuse him/her and is now a large, preposterous, and ugly adult, itself). I really can't speak Japanese, anymore, and never learned to write Kanji, Katakana or Hiragana; in addition to my Kinder Deutsch "skills," I have cursory knowledge of Ancient Greek, Latin, Italian, and Spanish---moreover, as of April 2013, my French vocabulary has expanded exponentially due to an auto-didactic course of intense immersion in all things de la langue française; I look forward to the day I can read and truly appreciate Molière in his exquisite, and precise mother tongue. If I had my life to live over, however, I would've become fluent in Mandarin Chinese beginning in 1984 when it occurred to me that it might be a good idea to learn it. Can still read and write music (if I must).
